I was attracted to Naturopathic Medicine for its holistic perspective. I loved that this type of approach takes into account the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of one’s health, and therefore great healing takes place.
I use individualized treatments according to your specific needs and goals. I am committed to supporting you, addressing your symptoms, enabling you to take charge of your health, and move towards a state of holistic health.

Through my professional and personal experiences, I have a deep understanding of how feeling unsafe and not fully seen can have lifelong and profound impacts on how we relate to ourselves and to others. This understanding is central to my therapeutic approach.
I have worked for several decades in the areas of addiction, chronic health conditions, LGBTQIA2S+ issues, and trauma (in its myriad forms). Working together to understand what you’ve been through and how those experiences have shaped you and your beliefs about yourself, holds immense potential for growth and healing.
I completed my Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Victoria. In addition to my private practice, I work as a therapist in an outpatient HIV clinic. My approach is informed by Psychodynamic Therapy, Intersubjective Self Psychology, Relational Psychoanalysis, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment theory, and a social justice lens. My style of therapy is empathic, strengths-focused, curious, collaborative and playful. I don’t presume to know who you are, but will join you in discovering who you are meant to be. You and I will develop a relationship that makes the unbearable bearable. We will compassionately explore and make conscious the unconscious ways you might inadvertently undermine yourself. Together we will build a foundation that will launch you into the life that you envision for yourself.
